Pro baby not: I have never seen this mode of transmission listed in the literature. Saliva tends to deactivate the virus. That said, if your gums are infected/bleeding, who knows. You may be the first.

Virtually none: This is highly unlikely to transmit HIV disease.

Bleeding gums: Chances of HIV/HepB/HepC/Syphilis/HPV very small. If concerned, see your General Physician or Urgent Care (not ER) for an evaluation. You probably do have, however, an infection. Bleeding gums indicate Gingivitis or Periodontitis, varying degrees of Gum Disease. Please, as gum disease has been implicated in damage to other organ systems, see a General Dentist or gum specialist Periodontist now.

Unlikely: That is  very unlikely (but not totally inpossible ) unless you both have bleeding gums or lips? However there are more contagious things besides HIV and best if any one is bleeding best not to share drinks etc.

Out of Context: No. Not in and of itself. Are you HIV positive? Do you not take your medications to keep your  immune system strong? Poor dental health is not in any way a symptom of early HIV infection.

Doesn&#x27;t matter: At 15 months, it doesn&#x27;t matter. Any and all HIV tests that exist will detect HIV infection if more than a few weeks have passed and for sure after 3 months. If your test result was negative, for sure you don&#x27;t have HIV. That said, my understanding is that most UK GUM clinics routinely use the duo test for antibody and antigen. But why don&#x27;t you just call the clinic and ask?

: Did you really have a biopsy and lesions have the characteristic features of hairy leukoplakia? If you truly have oral hairy leukoplakia then you are correct about this lesion which is an Epstein-Barr virus-induced lesion that occurs almost entirely in patients infected with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Take care.
