Physical exam: Rather than look to tie symptoms together, you should get a physical exam from an orthopaedic surgeon. You may have spinal disease compressing nerves that supply the sensation to those areas I.e. Sciatic, obturator, sural nerves. However , a careful medical and surgical history, range of motion and physical exam and imaging will provide definitive answers to your questions. Good luck.

had  ct without contrast and mri of pelvis without contrast  due to lower left pelvic pain that radiates down front of thigh to check for diverticulosis/diverticultitis? both showed no evidence of diverticula or diverticulitis.. could it be missed?

Most likely not: Typically diverticulitis and diverticula will be picked up on a CT scan, however there are many other possible causes for pain in the pelvis especially that radiates to the thigh including musculoskeletal and neurologic that would not be picked up by all imaging.  Please continue to work this up with your doctor

Complex: This complicated group of symptoms will require a more complete history and detailed physical exam and very probably some imaging studies and perhaps labs to figure out a diagnosis.  Would start with your pcp who can refer you for more specialized care if necessary.

Low back: pelvis, uterine, bladder nerves are cross wired with the lower extremities, thus referred pain into the legs as you are seeing.

Rarely: Despite common beliefs, most ovarian cysts do not cause pain.  However, if a cyst is large enough, it could press against the nerves in the pelvis causing pelvic or leg pain.
