my babys eyes look like there is pink on the sclera is this normal he is 4mths with gray eyes and it looks like its going arond the outside of iris?

Pink on the eye: May be conjunctivits. Most is viral some is bacteria ( usually have a discharge if bacteria, may also be allergic, Sometimes if the nose is congested  there is back up for fluid to the eye and that can cause eye swelling  and other issues  .  F/u and call pediatrician this AM

Dermoid: This could be a congenital piece of tissue in the wrong place. You should see an ophthalmologist for proper evaluation.

Definitely: Many children, even those of black or hispanic ancestry, are born with light colored irises.  The basic model iris is actually white, though we call it "blue".  All the other colors like green, hazel, brown, and black are result from adding different amounts of brown pigment to a white iris.  The irises of many children darken with age.

a grey patch on sclera appeared a week ago. it completely covers from the edge of my iris to inner corner of eye. could this be a serious disease?

Normal: Many people brown or gray spots on the white part of the eye called the sclera.  It is pretty common. This is scleral melanocytosis. It is not harmful and treatment is usually considered cosmetic.

i've just noticed on my 16 month old daughter, the outside corner of her right eye has a grey tinge to it. it wasn't there before and has only appeare?

Possible nevi: mention it to your pediatrician some skin lesions-nevi appear later in life, not present al birth

Eye lesion: It is usually bacterial infection. It would need frequent wash with water and antibiotic eye ointment if not cleared within 24 hours
