Inflammation: The white lashes may be congenital or hereditary, but the child should be examined for inflammation in the eyes to rule out vkh(vogt, koynagi harada's disease).

my son is 3 years old and i see gray and white strands of hair on his head. what should i do? i have noticed that the hair on his head is turning white and gray. should i be worried? what should i do?

The : The best thing would be to take him to your pediatrician and see if he has a possible nutritional deficiency or hormonal imbalance.  They can perform tests to be sure there is no obvious cause of this, and as that is quite a rare problem in a 3 year old he will need a complete evaluation.

No: Hair pigment changes as we age. No rhyme or reason to it.

E-l's turning blonde: It could be some chemical reaction,... have you applied any face pack or chemicals?  Vitiligo is a condition that can cause skin (and hair) de-pigmentation, which could theoretically affect the eye lashes, although rare.  See the Ophthalmologist for an exam, best wishes.

Not much you can do: You can except it as part of your uniqueness or dye your hair.  The best prediction of how soon your hair will gray, and how much grey hair you will have in at a given age is your parents' hair.  Although largely determined by hereditary although environmental factors do contribute to graying hair.  Because stress is a proposed contributor, try relaxation techniques and stress reduction.

i'm 31 and saw a couple of grey eyelashes. i know that eyelashes don't start going grey until 70's. is this a serious concern. should i see a doctor?

Graying: Although Graying of lashes,brows,and all other hair usually occur with aging, it certainly can occur at a earlier age.You should not be concerned.

Wait and watch: Having a grey hair in 2 years old  is not normal ,wait and watch if any  more grey hair come up .At present  just watch .It may happen if there family history of grey hairs at an early age even in small children .

Gray Hair: The graying of the hair is more of a genetic issue and not related to the moles. That is the hair in that region may be predisposed to gray in your case. For most of us the process is more diffuse. The gray hair is not a sign of the mole changing to a skin cancer.

Poss. epidermal cyst: It could be an epidermal cyst, but it could be a lot of other things as well. I would suggest that you have your doctor or a dermatologist look at it personally, and give you a definitive diagnosis.
