When things get: quiet at night we are less distracted.  Thus we can focus on physical and emotional symptoms that we don't focus on during the busy day.  Please see your doc to rule out fungal infection on feet.  Peace and good health.  Avoid alcohol-containing lotions.

ive had warts on the bottom of my foot recently that were taken care of. i started to grow another but its very small. if my foot hits part of my underwear while putting it on, can i risk transferring the warts to my genitals?

cracks in dry skin, 
cuts or scrapes, 
wet, softened, fragile skin from prolonged water exposure (macerated skin). Each person's immune system responds differently to hpv, so not everyone who comes in contact with the virus develops warts. Even people in the same family react to the virus differently.

Ringworm: This is a fungal infection sometimes transmitted by pets. There are no actual worms involved.   The cream you speak of is a topical steroid that is good for inflammation.   See your podiatrist for your feet and family doc for the other area for proper assistance

I would recommend, however, a test for syphilis and hiv.

Basics: An outbreak on your foot could be shingles which is herpes zoster, not HSV 1 or 2. You get HSV 1 or 2 on the genitals or in the orofacial (near the mouth).These germs are locality based and don't enter your blood to go to new sites.The shingles virus travels down a nerve root where it was hibernating after childhood chickenpox.
