I have not been able to find a good double blind study to prove it&#x27;s effectiveness as a Skin Whitening pill or cream
And it&#x27;s safety has not been researched although reported mild side effects
All I can say is it may be an antioxidant and try it at your own risk.I can not recommend this product for skin whitening

Dangerous!: Glutathione injections increase drastically the level of a compound produced by the liver to detoxify the blood stream. It is a dangerous procedure, that can cause significant problems. Warnings have been issued about links between certain levels of glutathione and serious side effects, which include kidney failure and a fatal form of skin allergy.  Do not use while breastfeeding!

Shea butter: There is no evidence to suggest that it does.  There are several topical creams that do have evidence, hydroquinone being the best.  Kojic acid and licorice have also shown some evidence that they can produce lightening on the skin.
