Skin irritation: You could try it and wear lose clothes to prevent irritation of the area. If it does not get better then consult a physician.

: The area being treated is very irritated from the yeast infection and and can bleed when something is rubbed on it. The applicator rubbing on the area could cause this .

Possibilities: Insect bites, allergic reaction, eczema, or other form of dermatitis. How long have you had this. Does it itch? Try Hydrocortisone cream. If this is ineffective, see podiatrist or dermatologist.

Safe: But makes no sense. They do the same thing. Using 2 of them is not more effective than using 1 alone. "Fungal" infection might be candida {yeast}, intertrigo, or tinea cruris. Either of these therapies might be effective for any of these conditions. Best results may require a more precise diagnosis with understanding about the cause. Sometimes "fungus in groin" is actually psoriasis or seborrheic
