my area between the pelvis where the upper thighs connect to the scrotum to the anal areas had some flaky skin that looked like a fungal infection. i don't have any stis.when i put panderm ointment skin looks normal, when ointment dries, it reappear?

: Whatever the skin condition you have (allergic dermatitis, fungal or bacterial infection) the panderm ointment should work if you use it twice daily for 10-14 days. If the lesion persists, you should see a dermatologist (skin doctor) then.

: Wash up with simple soaps and hope for the best. STD's are transferred in the fluids of sexual activity and only require brief contact during sex. If you don't want a STD, avoid sources that may have them. Aftercare is not likely to do anything beyond making you think your risk is lower.

:  No, this is not the proper way to use these medication’s. Your best bet is to wash yourself thoroughly after sex, and keep your private areas dry afterwards. If a fungal infection did occur, then it could be treated. Good luck.

: Fungal infection thru 'woman's juices' is seldom acquired  on your skin. You will be wasting a lot of  money and medicine doing that. Easier to wear a condom and  clean yourself later

Possibly: Some fungal infections (tinea, trichosporon...) can be spread by contact or through fomites (objects that may become colonized with the organisms like towels).  Handwashing works.  Avoid sharing towels and clothing (especially athletic types), wipe down workout equipment with antimicrobial towels.  Depends on the agent, duration of contact, and your immune systems function...And good or bad luck.

Yes: Cats can carry Ringworm.  Ringworm is not a worm but a fungal infection.  The lesion is a raised, scaly, and itchy rash.  There is usually a bald spot where the infection occurs.  See your Doctor for treatment.

Balanitis: most skin infections of the penis are caused by fungi.   most can be treated with topical antifungal's with our without a steroid.  there are only one or two oral antifungal's that are typically used. These are usually reserved for cases that do not resolved with the topical creams.  I would recommend you see a urologist for an examination
