Benzoyl peroxide: Antifungals won't touch it and an antibiotic risks resistance if used alone. Good hygiene, keeping dry, loose underwear may help.

Trichomonas: Make sure a swab is sent for trichomonas which can cause itching, if it hasn't been. Then wear only all cotton underwear, use white unscented toilet paper, do not douche, use unscented Dove soap. Contact dermatitis is a cause of itching. Scabies and lice also itch.

i have pus filled bumps on my scalp.  its always itchy. theres also clusters of small bumps in the nape area. ive been put on fungal medicine , an antibiotic and i've been prescribed a cream. nothing is working what could this be?

Time for examination: This certainly sounds like a bacterial infection: either impetigo or infected folliculitis. In either case, the lesions must be cultured and you will need oral and topical antibiotics.

: Isn't this a repeat question? Yeast infection is likely, the main thing that causes vulvar itching and worse with antibiotics like amoxicillin. Get checked for resistant yeast or try one of the alternate treatments. If your gyn isn't familiar, ask for referral to a gyn who is, or to an infectious disease or genitourinary medicine expert.

See an ENT: You need an evaluation by an Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist. They will be able to diagnose what is going on and determine what is the best course of treatment. If this is truly a fungal infection than antibiotics will not help.  They are only for bacterial infections.

True.: Many places on the body (mucous membranes, skin) have bacteria and fungi living in competition with each other, keeping each other in check. If you kill off one type (with antibiotics) the other type will win and overgrow.

Fungus on antibiotic: you might be correct especially if you have been on prolonged antibiotic use. A fungal infection is definitely possible. You should seek medical attention as soon as possible. Have your pcp examine you.

Doubt it: If you have visible fungus balls in the urine, you would have problem passing them out without discomfort. Aside from the test results, do you have any symptoms especially vaginitis?
