Viral infections: Generalized rash in young children is often caused by various viral infections, e.g., roseola, measles, etc.

Accepted Answer

Unlikely: A pink, measles-like rash can occur and is more likely if one takes the medicines Ampicillin or Amoxicillin for a throat infection.  This occurs usually when one is actively infected with the virus (ebv). 3 months is a long time and so most likely unrelated. Best thing to do is to have it checked.

Allergy: Rashes can be caused by infections that didn't otherwise make you ill. Other causes would be allergy or some other systemic illness.

Depends : Some people get a spotty rash like what you described when they are nervous or flushed.   Others might get the same kind of rash with changes in temperature.

Urticaria: Urticaria refers to a group of disorders affecting adults and children, in which red patches and weals occur in the skin. A wheel is a swelling of the surface skin. 
The skin swelling seen in urticaria is due to the release of chemicals such as histamine from mast cells in the skin which causes small blood vessels to leak. Treatment is with antihistamine or avoidance of the causative agent.

Doctor can examine: Rashes are hard to describe in words. Usually, a doctor has to look at a rash to decide on a cause. For common rashes such as eczema, mild reactions to plants or chemicals (the soap?), excessive dryness, or little itchy bumps, the doctor may recommend over-the-counter cortisone cream two or three times a day for 1 week. For fungal infections like t. Versicolor, selenium shampoo may be recommended.

is a syphilis rash contagious? i think i had a body to body massage with a masseuse who i noticed later had a full body rash. please note no sex or oral?

: Syphilitic rash on dry skin -- like hands, arms, legs or trunk -- is rarely if ever contagious. However, if the rash involves moist areas -- the mouth, genital area, around the anus, etc  -- these lesions are highly infectious. Contact with such moist lesions accounts for most sexual transmission of syphilis. There is no risk of syphilis from massage that does not include sexual contact.

i recently just finished taking amoxicillin bc i was diagnosed with strep throat. after i stopped taking it i got a full body rash for a few days and now (still since weeks ago) ive been feeling like theres hair stuck in my throat. any ideas?

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. You may try gargling with warm saline and drinking warm drinks when you experience this feeling. If that does not resolve the matter in a week or so, it would be prudent to see your doctor.
Get HPV vaccine.

Viral exanthem: This could be a viral rash, but you can't discount other possible causes exanthems can be caused by toxins or drugs, microorganisms, or can result from autoimmune disease.  It could be related to the flu shot, but not necessarily.  

A visit to the medical doctor could be warranted here.
