Second, keep the burned area covered with ointment  or cream such as Vaseline or bacitracin ointment.  You could even use silvadene (silver sulfadiazine) cream, which is designed for burn treatment.  Be patient. You lip will scab.  Keep the scab moist and in about 2 weeks, you should be good
