Need more info: Most of the symptoms described sound like a virus and so it is hard to say for sure without more information or picture. If there is fever present right now and sore throat I would recommend seeing your doctor for strep testing. If the  testing is negative then they will likely tell you to give fluids and rest and supportive care.

Infection related: It is not uncommon to develop hive-like rashes in association with viral illness and even strep infections.  As the infection resolves or is treated, so will the rash.  These rashes are more common in children.  The location being the tops of the thighs in curious.  Take a photo to show your doctor.  Follow the progression and if not better, see dermatologist.

Flu: Flu is usually associated with sudden onset of fever, myalgias cough and last a few days.  Your ongoing symptoms sound more like sinus problems.  Either allergic or infectious.
