yeast infection: tried 1 dose of zalain vaginal suppository(sertaconazole). it worked better than flagystatin. dosage is one ovule per week. gynae gave me 3more to use which will last me 3wks. when to see the gyane again if condition isnt better?

: Speak with your doctor or a pharmacist about treatment with a single dose of fluconazole by mouth. It is equally effective as vaginal treatments.

3 days: If it doesn't work, i rec Gynazole -1  Gynazole -1 usually works much better that is my #1 yeast vaginal med.

Yes: Almost anything that will comfortably fit can be used for sexual stimulation.  But suppositories are soft and dissolve.  You might consider trying sex toys which are designed for this purpose and will likely do the job more effectively.

Because most: vaginal suppositories, except spermicidals, are used to treat infection- sure to spread with intercourse: it's not about the effect on condoms: it's is a logical therapy to cure an infection.

Not in vagina : An intrauterine device is located in your uterus not your vagina. Putting something in the vagina does not affect an iud.

: What does "can't use" a suppository mean? If difficulty inserting it, try one of the many vaginal creams instead of suppository. There also is effective oral treatment, a single dose of fluconazole by mouth. Any product with active ingredient ending in "azole" is likely to be equally effective -- assuming the diagnosis of yeast infection is certain. If not, see a doctor or clinic. Good luck.

is it safe to have sex about 18-20 hours after using a boric acid vaginal suppository?

: Repeat question. Probably safe in regard to boric acid, but maybe not advised if you still have symptoms of the infection it is intended to treat. Best to ask the clinic or doctor who prescribed the boric acid.
