Depends: As you rightly surmised, ultrasounds become less and less accurate as pregnancy progresses.  Typically they are off +/- 5 days in first trimester, 10 days in second and 15 in third.

Yes: The subchorionic hemorrhage needs to be followed closely. Most resolve with rest and decreased activity.  If they do not, and bleeding continues, they can progress to cause miscarriage or PPROM.

Probably fine: I am sure your ob will alert you if you are not gaining enough weight throughout the remainder of your pregnancy. Women gain weight in different patterns and you are likely doing fine. Most important is that you do not lose weight, and that your baby continues to develop as he/she should.

First trimester: First trimester dating is more accurate than second trimester dating.  The estimated dates of june 20, june 21, june 22, or june 23 are about the same in real life, because real life is never exact.

Ultrasound dating.: First trimester ultrasound is by far the most accurate in determining the precise due date (+/- 3-7 days, depending on exactly when it is performed). Second trimester sonograms are less accurate but still helpful in pegging down the due date within +/-7-12 days. Third trimester scans are not very accurate in dating the pregnancy, as growth varies (+/- 14-21 days). Menstrual dating is not very good.

Accurate!: 1st trimester ultrasounds are very accurate - have correlated with timed ivf pregnancies. 
We usually consider 1st trimester scans accurate within 5-7days' 2nd trimester scans within 10-14days.
