Maybe: Back pain in the lower back and finger spasms are not directly related anatomically. The only connection may be dehydration.

No: It classically causes tingling and numbness especially when the hand is at rest such as during sleep. Sometimes if severe it can cause muscle weakness and atrophy requiring operation to release the median nerve.

Paresthesias: You are having paresthesias or nerve pain. It sounds like it is related to the alcohol. Alcohol can cause irreversible nerve damage, quit drinking now.  Excuse me for saying so but you sound like the guy who says it only hurts when I laugh doc!  Additionally, Lyrica (pregabalin) and alcohol don't mix!

Yes and no: Typical carpal tunnel symptoms are numbness and tingling. The fingers most affected are the thumb, index, middle, and ring fingers.  Finger spasms may be related, but could also be from a different cause.

Since your symptoms are adversely affecting your daily functioning/quality of life, i would suggest that you contact your doc as soon as it is feasible to have a thorough evaluation. : Heat exhaustion with its loss of fluids and electrolytes can predispose to cardiac arrhythmias. In your age bracket I recommend a treadmill stress test when there has been a fainting episode I can't fully explain.

Seek evaluation: There are some questions that first need to be asked and some exam findings but it may be that you have a focal neuropathy such as carpal tunnel syndrome. Neuropathies can be diagnosed clinically or with the use of a nerve conduction study. Please see your physician. Management initially includes wrist splints and at times medications.
