Hard to tell: Proper assessment will require some history, an exam & possibly lab work. This could be as simple as a transient virus or a more worrisome auto-immune disorder. I would have this evaluated by the child's physician when you can arrange it. If the kid is taking fluids well & playful at least part of the time it can wait until office hours. If the kid is not, start with an urgent care center.

Dengue fever: Yes. The most common symptoms are fever, joint pains and muscle aches. Although dengue is usually self-limited, early correct diagnosis is crucial because some patients will progress to dengue hemorrhagic fever (dhf) or dengue shock syndrome, which can result in death. Survival is improved with prompt recognition and adequate treatment.

No: Hay fever is  more of alleric rhinitis.Pt have sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, but alllergic skin rash  present with a rash that pt is allergic to-canbe from  foods, lotion or anything that  come to contact.

Maybe: The fact is that strep can be present in a peri-anal rash (pustular or blister like) and produce a full blown scarletina rash over the rest of the body. The tissue around the anus is just as susceptible to the strep germ as the throat and can be infected at the same time.

See dermatologist: Antihistamine is not going do anything for this type of rash especially when burning and not itching is the issue.  A dermatology consult would be your best bet.

Mgt.: I would advise checking the baby's temperature, continue to breast feed . Nasal saline drops for infants and a cool air mist humidifier may provide relief. If the cough is associated with fever or distress, gagging or choking, please see acute care.
