Vitamin C: The quality of vitamin c tablets (and powder) is rather standard.  The key thing to keep in mind is that vitamin c has a half-life of about 12 hours so no matter how much you take it will leave your body in that amount of time.  Thus, it's best to take vitamin c twice daily, A.M. And P.M.  Hope this helps. 500 to One K mg each time.

Supplements: Yes. 400 IU of Vitamin E is perfect. Just don't take it at the same time as the iron and vitamin c.

Thyroid is best: Taken fasting first thing in the morning. It should not be taken within two hours (before or after) calcium, iron or vitamins as they will alter it's absorption.

More iron: If another blood test called iron binding capacity is elevated, this would confirm that your body's iron level is deficient(most likely from menstrual blood loss) and that 1 iron tablet a day is not a high enough dose. Only a small percentage of an iron pill is absorbed and in true iron deficiency up to 3 doses a day are commonly needed to raise the blood level of iron. Your md will advise you.

Talk to your doctor: about switching to a different form of iron.  Or see if you can stop it for a few days.

Many hours: I think it will work better for you to take the iron supplement 30-60 minutes prior to taking any PPI which may suppress acid production for more than 10 hours.
