Douche: Yes. You may have a problem with that. Finding an alternate may be difficult. If your symtoms are very mild or more theoretical than real you may be able to by with using this method.

Unlikely: External soap and water.
If drainage, some douches can be helpful and simple.
Hope one of the gyns will respond also.
If really excessive drainage or odor, be evaluated for other conditions.

No worries: Hepatitis C is not caught through occasionally accidentally slightly touching somebody else's tampon. Also, not very many people in the US have viruses to spread onto their tampons. That means most tampons are not going to spread anything at all, no matter what kind of touching is done. Remember, you can't get something from nothing.

No: It won't result in incontinence, but you would have to be very careful to prevent rashes.

Tampons: You may be more likely to be sensitive to the scented tampons. It would be unusual for you to be allergic to cotton- what clothing could you wear?? Avoid scented products. Avoid douching. Water based lubes only- no scented ones. Make sure you clean any products that you use in or around your vaginal area. Always urinate after sex- this helps prevent infections, also.

Absolutely!: You are washing out the natural lubricity available from Mother Nature so STOP now. There is absolutely no need for most women to use feminine washes except it makes a profit for the company, and it causes vaginal issues such as dryness and infections.

Feminine products: Products that are non perfumed and pads rather than tampex. If you feel comfortable speak with the pharmacist. All the best.

Not bad: It is common to have just a very light, short period while on birth control, especially with many of the newer pills. You may just need a pantyliner, or you could just use a junior/slender tampon.

i've been using yaz for 5yrs+.the last 2 menstruation cycle has gone haywire. my previous period bleeding was so bad that i didn't sleep as no feminine product could contain it.now i have been menstruating every day for 3weeks.is this normal?

Not normal!: Please, see your doctor or health care provider for further cares.  You will need blood work and a pelvic exam for evaluation of infection and to feel the uterine size.  You may also need a pelvic ultrasound.  Please, get in as soon as possible!
