had surgery on 5-19 replaced achilles with tendon from the big toe.  in a plaster cast fell down the stairs do i need to call my orthopedic surgeon?

i broke my fibula. i am in a cast. i fell down yesterday and banged my leg hard on concrete. do i need to have another xray?

Yes: The x-ray will be able to tell if there has been any change.

i spilled hot coffee down my cast. how do i clean it?

Skin Burn?: Hopefully you did not burn your skin from the hot liquid.  I you are having any new pain related to this coffee spill please see your doctor to get the cast changed and to check for a skin burn.  Otherwise if the skin is ok, no easy way to clean this.  You can use a hair dryer on cool to blow air down the cast to dry it out, but the stain and smell will probably persist.

if someone's finger bending permanently downward, is needed surgery to fix it, or can you cast it for a while?

Needs Hand Surgeon: The treatment may be splinting and hand therapy, traction apparatus or surgery.

i broke my fibula a week ago. since then it has been on cast but i still feel some pain when the leg goes down from the bed. is this normal?

Fibula: Pain can still persist and is quite normal. What is not normal is worsening pain, swelling, blue discoloration of the foot or toes if you can see them.

i have been in a cast for 6 weeks for fractured scaphoid i fell and am in a lot of pain my cast comes off next week  will i end up in another cast?

Possibly: Scaphoid fractures are casted for longer periods of time because they don't heal as well as other bones.

broke my 5th metacarpal, they put me in a cast for 2  weeks but cast fell a part. will my hand work properly again with no cast now?

Depends: Talk to your doctor. It depends on how much of an angle there is on the 5th metacarpal.

i fell on scaphoid left wrist and had it set in plaster as the splint i was still in pain. the pain is very bad even in the plaster cast. how long wur?

6 weeks: Fractures take 6 weeks  to heal, but the pain should start getting better within the first 10 days.

fell off a 3 story roof, hit on one foot. never rehabilitated because sports (3weeks in cast). hurts 2 years later (dull pain). could go pro in sports?

Old fall foot: You will need to have it checked out again for the possibility of : arthritis in area due to poorly healed fracture that might have been previously missed, peripheral nerve damage to area, ligamentous damage due to trauma.

2yrs ago, fell broke rt bone in baby finger&hurt wrist. merge casted said cast will help wrist too, then .5cast. still now i get pain in my wrist, why?

Get rechecked: Sometimes broken bones despite being casted will heal in such a way causing arthritis and pain. Having another X ray would be wise and a follow up with your doctor for more answers. Good luck
