Many times withe the GBUS they will also look at the pancreas.  
Your age is certainly against this being pancreatic cancer.

There are many other possibilities, and you should continue to seek medical help until the Dx is made.

Next MRI: if you and your practitioner are really concerned, MRI is probably a better test for identifying possible pancreatic cancer, particularly a small growth in the head of the pancreas.

NO: Find a doctor you are comfortable with who will listen to you and understand your anxiety. It may take a little time, however when you find the one who you are comfortable with and listens to you everyone wins. When i alleviate a patients fears and anxiety it makes my day and theirs.

Practice: Many kids are scared of the doctor- they remember shots and don't understand why they have to get undressed and have all that scary equipment pointed at them!  practice playing doctor at home.  Make sure they go to all their well visits (not all have shots!) so that they don't necessarily associate the doctor's office with shots and being sick.  Read books about doctors.
