Consider non-steroidal anti-inflammatory meds to reduce pain.  Don’t yank off peeling skin or burst blisters. Seek medical care for severe pain, fever, lack of improvement of symptoms within several days or if a large surface area is blistered.

Cold milk, aspirin: Cold milk compresses 5 minutes per hour will remove heat from skin. Then aloe vera, or combined with hydprcprtisone will allow skin to repair. Aspirn will have antiinflammatory effect if necessary.Use proper sunscreen from now on.

V pain by placing cool, moist compresses on skin. Nsaid's ; Acetaminophen can help. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) can be used for itching. Hydrate well ; don't peel off deep layers.

Lotion and ibuprofen: First make sure this is not an allergic reaction to the medication itself. That would generally be more spread out beyond the area that was exposed to the sun and typically would occur early in the course - within the first couple of days of starting  the medicine. If it is due to the photosensitivity from the medicine then treat with aloe, lotions, and Ibuprofen (motrin or advil).

Not 100%: The steroid will take out some of the swelling associated but in a black woman it must be used sparingly and a short time because steroids can change skin color. It is best to soothe with a moisturizer. avoid re exposure to the sun and always wear a good broad spectrum sun block

Depends, but soon: It depends on how sunburnt it is.  If it's mild it shouldn't take more than a week.   If you are very red, your face may peel.   In this case your complexion may take longer to even out.  In either case you can use over the counter moisturizers, creams, or aloe to help with the dryness.
