No: The facial nerve activates the muscles of the face and is not involved in hearing - so there would be no effect of music on this system.

my son was born with weak facial nerves on one side thought to be his 7th nerve.  we have not had much luck of how to help him. can you help?

Facial palsy neonata: I dont know how old your baby is.Facial(7th cranial neve) palsy is a rare complication of normal vaginal delivery, or when forceps are used and sometime when the baby is too big through difficult vaginal delivery.It causes assymetery of face and baby is not able to close affected eye.Most of the time it corrects by itself, but sometimes when some of the signs persist then you need therapy.See urmd.

how do i make my facial nerves heal faster?

Not too much: The good news is that the facial nerve can repair itself from injury much of the time. The bad news is that it does so at its own pace, and at this point there have not been any treatments definitively shown to speed up nerve healing. 

Obviously it's also important to identify and address the initial cause of the facial nerve injury, which i'm assuming has been done.

Come again?: Sorry, but general, vague terms like "disorder" and "problems" are of no use when describing medical concerns. Please repost your question with more detailed explanations of what you mean by "nervous disorder," "problems" and which nerves you are referring to by "facial nerves." There are nerves that are called facial nerves, but you may not mean those in particular.

during jaw surgery the surgeon said the "hook" used stretched facial nerves. i now have bell's palsy on right side. is healing impossible or hard?

Should be ok: Usually return of facial nerve function  within a few months. Follow surgeon instructions. Oral surgeon may ask for ENT doc opinion about facial nerve injury.

i have a tumour on my submandibular gland, and seeing my consultant in about 2 weeks, just wondering if its possible it could be affecting facial nerves as i've been having weird stinging/pins and needles etc sensations in areas near/on my forehead?

Possibly : From your description, the symptoms may be related to nerve involvement. Please consider an ENT appointment right away.

my facial nerves are damaged, i have numbness in my forehead, eyelids, and also my face, muscle spasms and also twitching. i no longer have tears either but my eyes do not hurt a lot, they are mostly ok. what would be the prognosis?

: Most of your symptoms seem non organic and functional. have your doc give you a checkup. If OK then keep yourself busy helping the unprivileged, social work, music , sports or meditation.. You should be fine

Facial or Trigeminal: You can easily have injury to the facial or trigeminal nerve with facial lacerations.  Other cranial nerves can also be involved, though these are the cutaneous nerves, and more easily damaged with superficial injuries.

Tremor: Several reasons for shaking, and your brief description may be consistent with heredofamilial essential tremor, but could possess hyperthyroidism, or medication reaction.  Parkinson's and Wilson's both have specific tremors, and all of the above could be considered.  A neurologist will sort out, and guide therapy decisions.
