Rosacea?: Although there are other causes for flushing, rosacea is one of the most common causes for facial flushing which is not a feature of MS.   There are topical or oral medications to control this condition but you will need to  get it from your doctor who can confirm whether you have rosacea or not.

Very rare: Carcinoid syndrome is very rare. Flushing from perimenopausal state s is very common. Common things happen commonly.  But if you want to rule out carcinoid, ask your doctor to collect a 24 hour urine for 5h-iaa.  Then you can put your mind at ease.

Facial flushing: The small blood vessels in your face are opening up and  the additional blood flow there causes the flushing.  Check w/your doctor to make sure all is well.  There are psychological ways to manage this such as biofeedback but the most practical is learning to be comfortable w/it and even letting others know that you flush.  A clinical psychologist can help.  Peace and good health.

- occurs alongside other unexplained symptoms, such as diarrhea or a racing heart
- is causing significant embarrassment, stress, or anxiety
