Hot compresses: The most natural way to help with these: place a hot compress over the whitehead, black head, etc. Without popping it till the pore opens on its own: change when it gets cold; 20+ times till it decreases; not burning skin.  Ideally do this as soon as you feel a head starting.

The post-inflammatory pigment fades on its on after several weeks, or try hydroquinone sparingly.
