i have a floater that looks like a haze-like cloud. it moves just like a normal floater when i move my eyes from left to right, and is especially noticable when i am in a darker room with a bright window open. will this disperse into normal floaters?

: If you have myopia and you do not see flashes of light, you can observe that floater for now. You have to see an ophthalmologist urgently if you see flashes of light. You should avoid eye scrubbing if you have seen floaters often.

VERY common: NOT to worry ...Floaters do "come and go" lets hope your floater goes away on its own! TRY TO AVOID THINKING about it!  See an OPTHAMOLOGIST  for an OFFICIAL opinion!

Common problem : Floaters are quite common and do not cause problems. This is assuming that you had a completely normal eye exam

there is a small round floater around the size of the head of a pin needle in scrotum. it is not attached to anything just moves around. is it cancer?

Unlikely: Testicular cancer is usually felt as a large testicle that is hard and not painful.

Something that floats in the scrotum is most likely veins (varicocele)
however please consult with your general doctor for a good exam.

: Floaters are stingly, cobweb like elements that are in your field of vision and move around. Flashes are flashes of light and are transient. Flashes are more of a cause for concern.

Depends on the cause: It depends what caused the floaters. For most people, vitreous floaters can disappear over a period of weeks to months - eventually the brain "tunes out" the floaters so they're not very visible. Unfortunately, other floaters may then form over time. However, floaters can also be a sign of serious retinal problems - for any new or changes in floaters, see an md immediately.

The Vitreous: The vitreous is composed of a clear liquid called hyaluronic acid and fibers called collagen. As we age the vitreous becomes less solid and the collagen fibers become more visible (synuresis). The spots you see are these collagen fiber clumps. They do not cause harm to the eye, they just get in the way. If they are very prominent and reduce visual function  they can be removed with a vitrectomy.
