Not a problem: There is a plumbing system connecting your tear flow with the inside of the nose.  Eyedrops of certain types can be tasted.  Consider that anything approved to be put in the eye will have no toxicity in the rest of the body.  So there is no danger at all in this; don not worry a bout it.

i have redness and pain in the right eye in the bottom left corner close to my nose i have tried eye drops and is not working only getting worse?

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see a doctor, preferably an ophthalmologist. In the meantime talk to your pharmacist if any antibiotic drops are available over the counter and use those.

Should be all right: If the chicken was not infected with salmonella or other bacteria, you should do fine.  Your natural tears and secretions in your nose and throat will eliminate any material splashed onto you.

my boyfriend has a tiny stye the size of a pencil tip on his lower lid close to his nose we saw tonight that it started to bleed we cleaned the blood off and put eye drops in just normal drops for irritated eyes etc but now what will happen it has a hard

Stye care: These are very common and care be treated conservatively 90% of the time. A warm compress and los scrubs open up the oil glass which are blocked.  (http://eyewiki.aao.org/Stye). Make sure the heat is constant for ~3-5min.  Uncooked rice in a stocking moistened and place in the microwave will hold heat for 5min.  If this is not curative after 1-2wks then check with an ophthalmologist.

Symptoms?: What are your symptoms?  Sounds like you are trying to treat allergies. Some of what you are doing may be exacerbating your symptoms if they are dry burning irritated eyes.

my eyes are swollen and irritated it wasn't swollen before i put an eye drops on it. my nose bleed also and i feel like i'm going to have a fever. why?

Eye swelling: If these are prescription eye drops call your ophthalmologist and report this problem. If they are nonprescription eye drops stop applying them. Perhaps you're experiencing a viral or allergic reaction with nasal congestion explaining the nose bleed. See your physician or an ophthalmologist if you have continuing eye inflammation or visual difficulties. You can take Tylenol as needed for fever.

my 14yr old son has had covid for about 4 days now. he has had a stuffy nose with no temp and thats about it. today he woke up with what looks like pink eye in both eyes. should i just give him eye drops? i also have maxitrol drops would that work?

: Pink eye/ conjunctivitis is generally not a symptom/ sign of COVID. Please contact his doctor for proper evaluation &amp; treatment. Maxitrol does have antibiotic in it but also contains a steroid which may not be appropriate for his conjunctivitis. Also, some conjunctivitis is viral which would not be treated with Maxitrol.
