Check your blood pressure  and get it treated if you think the Pristiq (desvenlafaxine) is helping your depression. Before you stop the Pristiq (desvenlafaxine) , talk to your doctor first.

Everyone's different: Keep working with your psychiatrist to find the right med for you. Don't know what you have been on, but there are more than 8 options. Unfortunately it is trial and error. I have worked with some people for a long time to find what works without intolerable side effects.

Pristiq (desvenlafaxine): If you have suicidal thoughts, contact your md immediately  or go to an er. The recurrence of depressive symptoms after being stable on a dose of an antidepressant could be due to many things. Changes in blood  pritiq levels from other drugs or conditions  interacting, missing more than a few doses, new psychosocial stressors, etoh or drug use, are a few. Discuss with your md.

Not generally: a good idea to take Depression medicines intermittently or as needed. Not sure if it will help.  Zoloft is quite different than Pristiq (desvenlafaxine) and may cause unwanted side effects even if taken  for only 1 or 2 days. You may try any over the counter headache / nausea med which are the main side effects of &quot;withdrawal&quot;. Maybe a Physician from your State is available on HeathTaP Prime to refill today?

Help with bp: See your doc Nuvigil or Provigil probably better & safer--might need additional medicine to control bp.

That is best: Discussed with the doctor who's been following you.  Strattera may not be as effective as the vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) has been -- at least for adhd, anyway.

May, with caveat: Though i don't know you, i know break ups are hard. I wish you the best in your recovery from same. Recovery from such losses usually takes time and is promoted by seeking support from family and friends and by maintaining as normal a routine as possible. Formal psychiatric treatment in the form of psychotherapy of meds may be indicated if you have prior history of major depression.
