Depends: It kind of depends on why you feel the way you do ... Take a look at what exactly is making you feel threatened or upset  and try to examine the sequence of events and feelings objectively. Maybe more than that: You &amp; he may be trying to deal with much more than simple ADHD which typically shouldn't cause  uncharacteristic anger/moodiness in anyone. That's likely something else. He may have anger dyscontrol issues. If he's a veteran coming home from the war there could be things such as PTSD &amp; ANXIETY at work. Try to find a moment when he's at the lowest emotional level &amp; gently test the waters.

Many people relax by reading a novel, lying under a tree in the park, or socializing with friends.
