Low, but...: Plan B, Postinor 2, and other brands of emergency contraceptive pills can alter the menstrual cycle for the cycle in which Plan B or Postinor 2 was taken, and sometimes the next month's cycle too. One should be sure to check a home urine pregnancy test about 3 weeks after sex, because emergency contraceptive pills work most of the time, but not all the time.

: it is risky to have unprotected sex unless your partner is monogamous. I would suggest see your MD or a Gyn and be treated according to findings.

Very low!: The chances of getting pregnant if you are taking birth control pills is 3-5% per year.   In any given month it is less than .5%.   That means you have greater than 99.5% chance that you are not pregnant.  Best wishes!

Depends: Company literature implies you are protected (no backup is needed) if it is inserted between day 1-5 of menses. If inserted at any other time they suggest backup (barrier) BC for 7 days. Many OBGYNs would suggest a backup for as much as a month either way.

What is "safe sex"?: If you used a condom the first time, then Plan B shouldn't be necessary. Since she took plan b, i assume you didn't use a condom. Don't forget that condoms also lower one's risk for catching/giving sexually transmitted diseases & infections in addition to lowering risk for pregnancy. Plan b is a hormonal method for emergency contraception that should not be affected by other birth control pills.

Still low: If you missed 1 active pill (up to 48 hours late) - take your missed pill as soon as remembered (you may take two pills in one day)
-- use the rest of the pack 
-- do you need  to use condoms for a week?  No.	
-- do you need a morning after pill?  No, but consider if pills missed earlier in the pack, or in the last week of the previous pack. 
-- back-up methods needed if 2 or more pills are missed

Insanity defined: Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. You would need a 2nd Plan B pill and more importantly a primary contraceptive going forward.
