Helping an addict.: Addicts generally has to reach rock bottom on their own, and when they do they'd need loved ones around to pick them up and help them recover and cure.  Leaving them alone with their vices and negativity is not necessarily the healthiest way to leave them.

Addiction Turmoil: Relating to an Addict family member can be very frustrating and  some family members like to kick the addict member out of the home.
After that some family members feel worry, sadness and guilt.

Keeping them at home and not giving him anything is upsetting.

Have family meetings, express concerns and feelings about the behavior of addict member, and prepare him for Rehab, AA, and NA Meetings.

Many people feel sadness and grief; anger is another common reaction.  Sometimes the person may escape into drug use or other addictive behaviors.  The way people deal with loss varies widely.  It's good to have support.

Brachyherapy : Brachyherapy for the prostate causes very little fatigue however the medications associated with the treatment can cause some fatigue  the majority of patients continue to work and do all normal activities several days after treatment.

family member was put on crestor (rosuvastatin) but is having side effects: feet feel tight, fatigue, weakness,etc. go to er? getting worse. what will they do???

Contact doctor : Medication side effect is often concerning and in this case the class of medication called Statins. I will recommend calling the doctor that started the medicine and discussing this concerns as soon as possible. They are other options for treating cholesterol that can be explored. Try it and see.: Everyone is different.  Ask if you can start at a lower dose and titrate it upward if you are having no problems. All these drugs have mild side effects in most folks in the first weeks that get better with time. If you have problems or concerns, discuss them with your doctor when they occur to see if it means adjusting the dose, waiting a bit longer to see if you improve or if you need to stop it
