Yes: If not ovulating regularly the ovary produces more male hormones adding hair and acne?  It is weight neutral.  It helps the skin by stopping excess ovarian testosterone and the estrogen gets metabolized into certain protiens which bind up testosterone in the blood so less is available to react with he skin. If u have irregular periods w/high weight metformin may help the wt loss efforts.Lk up pcos.

Unsure  what ur ? Is: I agree with unchanging from a progestin only pill like cerazette to a combine oral contraceptive pill because  they are more effective and forgiving. If I miss a dose and may provide other benefits like improving acne. However, I would recommend a different formulation  than Yasmin, like Loestrin or Sprjntec which have lower risk of blood clots.

: PMS can cause significant depression/anxiety and fatique.  If you are not on low dose oral BCP's, ask your gyn provider about them, as they can be taken for months w/o adverse effects. The BCP's stop ovarian estrogen, and consequently stop the PMS from sudden decreases in estrogen levels which are more pronounced after age 35 and older.
