Get it chekced.: This could be a herpetic witlow. A herpes infection on the finger can be very contageous and is treatable with medication. I could be a bacterial infection. There is treatment available.

Some alternative medicinespecialists claim cure for eczema but there is no long term published reports to suggest that.

Though they are not always seen in the unite states of america, these sand fleas are not a rare find in the caribbean. It is those people who have visited the caribbean and returning home, who are carriers of these pests.

can treat but not : Eczema can be treated by using moiturusers, steroid creams, or macrolide immune suppressants like Protopic some times combined with anti itch meds, and you can control eczema.
Some children and adults get the rash due to allergies to certain foods and you can advice the patients to tay oof these foods as well 
acute flare ups have to be treated aggressively some times.

Protect: Avoid things that make you break out, soaps & wetness. Wash your hands only when necessary. Wear gloves when needed. Wear clothes made of cotton. Bathe only with a small amount of mild unscented soap, such as dove. Keep the water temperature cool or warm, not hot. Use the medicine your doctor gave you. Use a plain moisturizer daily. Avoid scratching or rubbing the itchy area. Manage stress.

Eczema treatment: Eczema is a skin sensitivity which is controllable with  skin care measures, but should be expected to flare up from time to time.  Washing with hypoallergenic soaps, hydrating with hypoallergenic lotions, avoiding perfumed products, wearing loose natural fiber clothing, applying topical steroids with flaring, warm showers every other day and controlling itch will all help keep eczema at bay.

I use....: Fluconazole 200 mg twice weekly with clarythromycin 500mg bid!  many other remedies!

Control Measures: Eczema is an atopic skin reaction caused by your own immune system.  It is not cured, but controlled.  Control measures include avoidance of skin allergens and irritants (use nondetergent/fragrant and dye-free products), regular use of hypoallergenic skin emollients, and topical corticosteroid creams for more sever cases.
