Diagnosis First: Vomiting calls for stomach evaluation.  Your GI doctor will likely recommend upper endoscopy first, to rule out common stomach problems, and possibly abdominal MRI to look at your pancreas.  However, do keep in mind that sometimes vomiting could be a sign of an elevated intracranial pressure.  If there is nothing wrong with the stomach, you may need to see a neurologist.

"flu" and exercise: Not certain what is meant by stomach flu. If any diarrhea or not eating your may be dehydrated. What meds are you taking happy to help but need much more information.

Consider "central" causes: motion sickness, vertigo, migraine headache, brain problems (some very serious). Also, rule out infection (? Urinary tract), medication side effects, pregnancy, &amp; even reaction to stress. Find &amp; treat the cause--see doc.

: Prevent your child from vomiting/gagging. If the vomit is after cough only, help them reduce coughing. If the child continuously coughs so much that they vomit it may be worth checking with your pediatrician to make sure there is not a more serious lung infection.
