DVT: I recommend you be checked by a doctor right away.    Don't take any chances with a DVT.

: More information is needed. Where are the lumps and bumps? Are they vein like or fleshy? PE is in the lung and not visible and DVTs usually in the legs/arms where they legs are usually /swollen enlarged but not bumpy ( unless superficial DVT). Could do an ultrasound/CT or MRI to evaluate the affected area. F/u/w/ MD or ER

Hard to say: Dvt in arms are a bit unusual. They are often related to trauma or IV or the like . If not they can be related to cancer or hypercoaguable states.

Be seen!: I would strongly advise being seen!  Not only do you likely need treatment but it would be worthwhile to discuss *why* you have a DVT.  Leaving it be could kill you.

Nonspecific: More description of your leg discomfort is needed. Classic dvt signs and symptoms include calf pain and tenderness, lower leg swelling and often ankle edema, calf pain on straightening the leg and bending your foot backwards. Usually there are predisposing conditions in  dvt cases such as prolonged bed rest or leg injury. If leg discomfort persists, get quizzed and examined by your physician.

DVT and leg pain: If you have leg pain and are concerned of having a DVT then a venous duplex scan of the veins in that leg should be done.  This ultrasound is the gold standard for diagnosing DVT.  If a venous ultrasound is negative then the chances of having DVT is very low.

intermittent hot flashes in left upper calf, happening for the past three days but worse now. might be dvt, but i'm pretty young for that. thoughts?

No age for DVT: DVT can occur at any age, especially for people with coagulation problems (blood clotting mechanism problem) or those on Oral Contraceptive Pills.
Please see your doctor for a check

my lower left leg is swollen, (2 - 3 cm's bigger than my right) i don't have a dvt and i haven't hurt myself. it is sometimes tingly. any advice?

Pursue further: If you mean that you don't have a DVT based on a doppler, that means you don't have a DVT from your groin down.  It doesn't mean that your pelvis if free of clot.  There are certain conditions that can affect the left side and not the right.  And to make it more complicated, it can be a dynamic or static compression of the vein. Rec. You f/u with a vascular surgeon to help with the workup.
