hi, i had an a op on monday and was told to take dulcolax for my stomach, i have had severe cramps and nausea since 2am, how can i solve this?

Concerned: To answer the question better, I would need to know what op you had. I would not consider Dulcolax a medication for the stomach as typical use this for constipation. Cramps and nausea would not typically respond to Dulcolax. If the procedure was of the gastrointestinal type, I would seek a doctor or other health care provider quickly to evaluate your symptoms. Abdominal pain: Abdominal cramping accompanied by increasing bowel movements could mean anything from irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, colitis, gastroenteritis, etc... See your physician.

Try Zantac (ranitidine) : Zantac (ranitidine) 150 bid/ omeprazol 20mg, try. If not get checked for h pylori. Constipation, gastritis are other consideration.

What's the cause?: Flatulence +/- cramps neither localizes your problem to the small or large bowel, nor indicates severity or cause. You have described a gut that may be dysfunctional--but is this due to infection, sibo, motility problems, inflammation, ibs, ischemic disease, maldigestion, sphincter problem, etc.? How long have your symptoms lasted, is there accompanying fever, bleeding, vomiting, tenderness, etc?
