Pruritus ani: It has a name but may require casting around for a cure.  Try meticulous hygiene with wet wipes, even between movements.  Cortisone creams may help. After that see a dermatologist or a knowledgable FP. It could be just the result of healing and require time.

Tiny=keep clean: Infants will heal quickly from tiny wounds if they are kept clean. An application of a small amount of antibiotic cream over the wound can also help. Visualizing the site multiple times/day to monitor healing is also reasonable.

Antibiotic ointment: I recommend that the parents of my pediatric patients keep the penis gooped up with antibiotic ointment with each diaper change or bath. Good examples of such ointments are bacitracin, polysporin, (bacitracin and polymyxin) neosporin, and triple-antibiotic ointment. The best thing to do is to ask for advice from the physician who performed the circumcision.

Go to ER for eval.: Infection rate from cat bites is high. You may need antibiotics.  If you haven't had a tetanus shot in the last 10 years or your don't know - then you will a need another tetanus shot. Get prompt care. This can quickly become a serious problem.

Call your surgeon: Sometimes, medications in the same class can have better or worse outcomes for pain relief. Call your surgeon and ask for something different, even if it is the same or similar class of drug. Sometimes this can help . Best of luck for a speedy recovery!

Get her: To foot specialist right away. Diabetic foot ulcers can become a serious matter very quickly.

i have a wound infection on my knee from a grass burn that reopened a few times while playing a sport. the doctor prescribed ranclav 1g twice a day for 5 days. will i be able to exercise lightly while using this medication?

Yes: Light exercise isn't a contraindication while on an antibiotic, however if your doctor asked you to rest the area till done with the treatment, better to not exercise till done and have a follow-up with your doctor, best wishes
