: Injury might explain the cuts and "burns", but lasting this long suggests other things, especially herpes, the most common cause of otherwise unexplained genital ulcers (open sores). Depends: Your young to get atrophic vaginitis, which is often caused by a lack of or deficiency in hormones that aide in vaginal lubrication/moisture.  Certain infections may cause dryness and irritation, so best to get evaluated and see what the best tx would be.  In the mean time, use basic lubricants (medicated vaseline.Ky jelly, etc.) during any intercourse to avoid pain and irritation.  Best wishes.

Correct: No need to "aggressively" wipe.  This can cause irritation.  Padding the area front to back is better.  Urine can collect within the labia minor and can be an irritant and cause odors.  Padding that area is ok.
