Unfortunately, this medicine is not available any longer in the U.S. (maybe someone else can comment on whether it's still being sold elsewhere?).  It was replaced by bismuth subsalicylate (Pepto Bismol).  
This is indeed frustrating!

Bowel fluid absorber: Donnagel is an over-the-counter anti-diarrhea medication which is no longer available in the us, i believe it is still available in other countries including canada. Although it came in different formulations, the primary ingredient was "attapulgite" which is a clay-like substance which works by absorbing fluid in the intestine.

Our system had a telemedicine, wherein, our own patients can go on the insurance computer for us and we can give them their medicine but not for consultation as this, too risky for you and for us, medico legally.
