leep( hpv) before 3 years. since then i go every 6 months colposc +pap clear. hpv dna ok, hpv test negative, have a scar tissue from leep that bleds after sex. it happens 3 years after leep. biopsy there shows cervicitis. but i m worry. is it normal?

Difficult to know: I can imagine that a scar that is high in the vagina would be easy to miss or easily overlooked during an exam. And almost impossible for your partner to feel during sex. If it's not bothering you, then i wouldn't pursue it. If you are worried about misdiagnosis, then you should bring it up during the exam and have your gyn explain what s/he is feeling.

No: Sperm are relatively frequent in pap smears and under ordinary circumstance do not even appear in a report in most institutions.

: No, it does not mean that you have cancer or even dysplasia. However, you should get repeat PAPs at the frequency recommended by your doctor.
It would be useful to get HPV vaccine to prevent infection by other strains of HPV.

Yes and no: There are some safeguards in the procedure. A pap smear should never be reported out unless the smear is first an adequate specimen ( has the right kind of cervical cells on the slide) as judged by the person reviewing the slide.If adequate, and no abnormal cells are seen, it would be reported as negative.Can errors be made ?, yes.

During a pap smear, your physician swabbed your cervix and has sent the specimen to the pathologist who will assess for the presence of any abnormal cells.  Speak to your doctor about the test results.

Cervical dna probes: In addition to a pap did you have STD screening or a wet prep for further workup. If not you may need to have these done. Inflammation can be from many causes that are not necessarily picked up with a pap alone.

Not on pap smear: Adenomyosis is the interspersing of endometrial gland tissue within the walls of the uterus(myometrium). The pap smear evaluates cervical cells only as to their normalcy or not.
