There are also many other types of baby rashes, such as those that happen with viral infections. In newborn babies, some rashes are normal and temporary.

Ask doctor: Have the doctor check the shoulder level and tell you if they are normal or not.  Babies can have scoliosis but it is very rare.  It could just be positional.

We don't know: Colic is not hereditary...But it can be seen in families. My understanding is that it deals with the immaturity of the digestive system and therefore inability to digest well. Probiotics can help immensely as can gripe water or colic calm or cocyntal. So can craniosacral therapy and or chiropractic. Chinese medicine and homeopathy also work. I have had success with all of them!

Hips ; Knees loose: Most of the time it's not actually the feet/toes, but normal inturning at the hips and knees. The babies ligaments have been stretched and cramped in the uterus, and also have been under the influence of maternal hormones designed to relax mom's pelvic ligaments in preparation for delivery. The ligaments in the baby also 'relax' causing the legs to turn in, giving the pigeon-toed appearance.

Flu/Cold V/S Infuenz: Cold, runny nose, cough usually seasonal, viral. Home remedies: drink more fluid, saline nasal drop/spray 4-6 times/d and suck mucous with bulb syringe, humidifier or Vicks Vaporizer in room. 1 yr or old can have 1 teaspoon honey X2/day, reduce milk intake for 5-7 days.
Continue breast feeding. If high fever, fast/labored breathing see pediatrician to check for Influenza and treat accordingly.
