Disease or cancer?: I feel like former president clinton defining what is is. How to deal w/impotence or erectile dysfunction after prostate disease depends upon what the disease is/was. Perhaps ed isn't even related to prostate disease but rather a relationship on the rocks or stress/worry over financial security, family & friend issues, etc. 1st thing is get evaluated by your family doctor to find root cause.

Surgery for ED: Depending on the cause of ed, medicines, injections, vacuum pumps are often used prior to surgery. Reconstructive surgery usually requires placement of an inflatable penile implant. Reconstruction can be accomplished for severe penile curvature (peyronies) but often requires a penile implant as well. See a urologist.

Lexapro (escitalopram) hits brain: not the penis nor the penile nerves. THat being said, lowered libido and consequent lowered sexual function is quite common with all the SSRI anti-depressants.
These are effects that occur when the drug is there, and not when it is not there.

i had a penile fracture and i have a bent penis 7 years from now. can i use a penis extender device to treat my penile fracture? can it also correct my erectile dysfunction? if not, should i still enter in a surgery?

: If you really had a fracture you should be under the care of a Urologist who will order the test/tests best suited for you after a thoro exam and decide what is the best treatment. Pl do not use a penis extender

Prostate and ED: Prostate enlargement and erectile dysfunction are two separate issues which may be treated at times with similar medication (pde5inhibitor= viagra, (sildenafil) cialis, levitra) which is likely where you may have drawn the similarity between the two conditions.  Both conditions need to be evaluated by your urologist.  Signs of prostate enlargement include difficulty with urinating, urinary frequency.
