Estrogen Therapy: Estrogen, which is what Premarin is, is used to stop abnormal uterine bleeding.  It is often given in birth control pills to help stop bleeding in women such as yourself, but Premarin will do the same thing.  Call your doctor for reassurance.

after a week of 0.625mg premarin (conjugated estrogens) and 5mg dupaston, i have irregular bleeding, strong headache,stomachache, and breast pain. is it ok to stop taking?

OK: It is OK to stop taking for a few days up to a week, but if things are not going your way you need to see your doctor.

See Ob/Gyn: There are other formulations of estrogen if that is the issue.  You should not bleed just due to using vaginal estrogen. You should see your doctor.

Bleeding on OCP's: Painful sex can arise from infection, but bleeding on oral bcp's is usually from not having taken the pill punctually. The bleeding comes from irregular estrogen levels, and is because the lining of the womb breaks down as a result. Premarin (conjugated estrogens) will not stop the bleeding, only accentuate it. Stop both, and see your healthcare provider if pain continues.

Consult provider: Some bleeding can occur, especially when starting this type of therapy. Discontinuation will depend on relative risks and benefits in your specific circumstances.  Bleeding can be evaluated with endometrial biopsy or ultrasound.

Consult provider: Some bleeding can be normal.  Discontinuing use depends on the risks, benefits of use, in your particular circumstances.  If abnormal bleeding continues, you can be evaluated with an endometrial biopsy or ultrasound.

No...: The low doses currently used do not cause weight gain. Provera (medroxyprogesterone) could increase your appetite and if you satisfy it -&gt;weight gain. Could be water weight, once again current doses, usually not.

Should help tx: Synptoms of estrogen deficiency like hot flashes, troublke sleeping, irritability, vag dryness, bone loss , etc, in almost everyone if u need premarin, (conjugated estrogens) the benefits outweigh the potentail risks.

is premarin 1.25mg the same as famynor 0.05mg?

Not the same: but equivalent in effect and strength. Not the same exact chemicals(hormones), but same results for most patients.
