Yes, and no: Yes, young women (younger than 17) can take Plan B and yes it's definitely safe.  Plan b is progesterone, a hormone that your ovaries have been making all along.  The age of 17 was more of a political cut off originally for the fda, than a physiological one, but definitely safe for women younger than 17.  And no, will not harm you at all.  May change your cycle around when you take it, but no harm.

Should not: Plan b should not really cause any change in the vaginal discharge. I would see your doctor for testing for infection and to discuss birth control plans in the future.

Wait: Use condoms until your next menses (withdrawal bleed) after taking plan b. If you don't have a cycle within 2 weeks, take a pregnancy test or see your doc. Resume NuvaRing after your cycle as directed & take good care of yourself.

No: Using too much Plan B won't cause infertility.  Its not a great idea to use it multiple times in one month; however, because it may not be as effective the second and third time.  Its intended for an occasional emergency.  If you are needing often, its best to get on a regular birth control pill.
