Sure, but...: A number of small studies have yielded conflicting results concerning the effectiveness of milk thistle in hepatitis c and chronic liver disease. A systematic review concluded that although milk thistle may decrease liver enzymes in patients with hepatitis c, there was no clear benefit to this or other herbal medications for chronic hcv infection.

Be careful about possible side effects.
