Limit peanut butter: Nuts are a healthy part any diet, but peanuts are not strictly a nut. An eight year harvard study showed that the women who ate the most nuts gained the least weight. It turns out that one does not absorb all the fat in raw nuts because it is tied up in the fiber. However when turned into a butter, you absorb more fat. So eat nuts, but focus on raw almonds & walnuts, not peanuts and peanut butter.

i like to lose weight by eating ground meat with vegetables for one meal then next meal just peanut butter jelly sandwich and yogurt its way under 1500 calories but i scared eating that less calories damage my good eye bec i blind in one eye. safe?

Losing weight: To lose weight, get ur resting metabolism rate done(weight loss centers do this). This determines the total number of calories you need to lose 1-2lbs/week. Decreasing 500cal/day will give you a 1lb wt loss in 1wk; drink water (1/2 your body weight), eat small meals about 150-200cal 2-4x/(depending on your metabolism rate) and 500cal/meal at night: lean protein/veggies; avoid carbs, .

Yes: Eating low calorie foods, instead of higher calorie foods, will help lose weight.  Eating low calorie foods, in between high calorie meals or high calorie snacks, won't help with weight loss because the low calorie foods still have some calories.
