Pregnancy unlikely: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate and not affected by foods, herbs, common illnesses, sexually transmitted diseases, or medications. A correctly done urine test gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have happened) or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon.

started dieting and exercising and lost 4lbs! but then i started my period and am gaining the pounds back. i haven't changed my diet is this normal?

Fluid!: No worries, it's just extra fluid that is commonly there before a period which will soon disappear.

If this is a recurring problem you should be evaluated. Infections &amp;  hormonal changes can cause spotting. If there is a concern for pregnancy then do  a home pregnancy test . Not normal: While stress and diet can cause your menses to change a bit, this type of bleeding should be evaluated.
I suggest you see your gyn and obtain blood work and a pelvic ultrasound

i started taking 10 mg lexapro 6 months ago for mild anxiety. although my diet and exercise habits have not changed, i have slowly gained 6 lbs over that period. could this be due to the medication and is this weight reversible if i stop taking it?

: Weight gain is a common (1-10%) side effect of lexapro. In general, if medication is the cause, stopping the medication will reverse the effect.

Irregular ovulation: Diet high is simple carbohydrates, will cause irregular ovulation and cycle variations. Testing with your doctor, could be very helpful.
