No and Yes: Having gestational diabetes does not mean that you will have to have a cesarean section.  Lots of gestional diabetics deliver vaginally.  Important to control your blood sugar because uncontrolled diabetes can lead to large babies which do need a cesarean.  All gestational diabetics on medication typically deliver by 39 weeks or undergo induction at 39 weeks.  One week prior to one's due date.

Yes: Yes. It may not be "lochia" but something else from inside the vagina. An examination by your OB MD should make a determination as to what it is exactly.

Most likely not : Related.Cesarean section is considered relatively safe. It does, however, pose a higher risk of some complications than does a vaginal delivery.
Have your family run some to see if you have any form of arthritis.
