Not typically: It is unusual for BV to cause so much inflammation that you would have breakdown of the skin around the clitoris.  This is way more likely with a vulvar / vaginal yeast infection.

Not usually: Bacterial vaginosis does not usually cause these symptoms but it can increase the risk of other infections which can so you should be examined and tested more extensively to be sure there isn't something else going on if the BV treatment doesn't take care of the pain. Needs exam: An exam is needed to determine the cause and treatment. Genital herpes is my first concern when a patient complains of pain on the genitals. Since you just started medication an allergic reaction is a possibility. Schedule a visit for an exam and testing.

Should not cause tha: Bv would not cause that and yeast should not either unless you have external yeast and the itching caused you to scratch and cause the cut, let your gyn who is treating you examine to see what the cause is.

You should see a healthcare provider!

Yeast? STD?: These symptoms are most typical for yeast. UTI unlikely unless you also have urinary urgency and painful urination. BV usually causes odor and sometime discharge, but no itching or irritation. Chlamydia, gonorrhea or herpes could cause these symptoms as well. Don't just guess or self treat.
