Yes, but...: Dark-colored stools may result from iron supplements, foods you eat (like a lot of spinach), substances (like peptobismol), but most significantly suggests bleeding. When blood is denatured by acid in your stomach, as from ulcers, stools will turn tarry ("melena"). Blood may also be ingested from nose bleeds, bleeding gums... Persistent melena (without obvious cause) & symptoms warrants md visit.

Black, tarry, : Malodorous stool could be due to GI bleeding and needs prompt medical evaluation. Black stools can also be caused by taking meds like pepto bismal,  iron pills or due to coloration of certain foods.

No: black or dark brown? Black stools, whether solid or loose, can be sign of blood in the stool.   You might want to have this checked especially if you have any belly pain, fever, weight loss.

Clindamycin: Clindamycin is one of the most common antibiotics caused clostridium difficile  infection (c. Dif.).  If you have diarrhea after started on this medication, you need to make sure c. Diff is not the cause.

Blood, pepto bismol (bismuth subsalicylate): Truly black diarrhea is concerning for digested blood and evaluation a doctor is recommended.  Dark green diarrhea is more common and related to bile in the stool.  Otherwise the color of stool is related to the colon of whatever is consumed.  Also, bismuth containing anti-diarrheals (pepto bismol, kaopectate) make stool black.

i have light colored diarrhea that is very liquified, but then i have black blueberry-like balls that float. what could this be caused from?

Diarrhea: Absent blood or mucous the consistency and color of the stools during an inflammation of the GI tract will vary greatly with both the cause and what you have eaten.  If this persists you may want to go and be seen by your PCP.
