Excellent: The problem is that alcohol can dry your skin.  The newer alcohol containing solutions for hand disinfection don't cause as much dry skin but control the germ levels as well as alcohol pads. try using them.

Infected hairs: You're likely to get these from time to time. Showering twice a day with a good antibacterial soap is likely to help. This is not herpes. Alcohol won't help. Let these things heal on their own, or try hot compresses.
